I just wanted to let you know that the island has sold. Closing date will be July 22. It sold for 1000 Dollar more than my asking price - and if I wanted to, I could have gone into bidding - I got 4 more offers - up to $20,000 more then my asking price - one person from England wanted to send me a check without even seeing the place! But I wanted to find "the right" people and not just anyone. I even didn't notify the buyers about the other offers. The place is full of history. And I wanted to have someone who can appreciate that, someone who fits into the community and is also right for me. Someone who knows what they are getting into it - old buildings and all...
