The City of Quinte West, on the north shore of the Bay of Quinte, marks the start of the Trent Severn Waterway, a 386 km system of rivers and lakes that joins Lake Ontario with Lake Huron.
Marmora and Lake offers excellent canoeing and kayaking opportunities. Beaver Creek (a river in everything but name) and Crowe River offer canoeing and kayaking ranging from beginner to extremely challenging waters.
Quinte Country encompasses the City of Belleville and all the towns and Townships between Napanee and Brighton. It includes Prince Edward County to the south and Tweed to the north.
